How do I subscribe to your Podcasts?

To subscribe to our Podcasts, you will first need Podcasting software. You might already have some installed on your computer. Please check your list of programs before continuing. If you do not have Podcasting software, we recommend Apple's iTunes. It is available for Windows and Mac OSX. On Linux, we recommend Amarok.

Next, locate the Podcast on our website that you want to subscribe to. Our global Podcasts are listed on our Podcasting page. Podcasts for individual sponsors and speakers are located on their respective Details pages. (For a catalog, click the "Sponsors" or "Speakers" link in the upper right portion of our website.)

Next, make a new entry in your Podcasting software for this Podcast. There are multiple ways to do this. If using iTunes, you can use the copy-and-paste method. Right-click on the Podcast link and click "Copy Link Location" or "Copy Shortcut". (The exact wording depends on your web browser.) Next, open iTunes and go to the Podcasts section. Click "Advanced" in the menu at the top of the iTunes window, and then click "Subscribe to Podcast...". Right-click in the white area labeled "URL:", and click "Paste".

Note that our Podcasts only show up to the latest 30 recordings by default. To see previously listed recordings, add "?rows=X" to the end of the URL, right after the ".xml" part, where "X" is the number of recordings you want. For example, if you want to see the latest 100 recordings from our "All MP3s" Podcast, the URL should look like this: http://www.audioverse.org/displayfeed/7/AllMP3s32Kbps/feed.xml?rows=100 If the number you enter is greater than the number of recordings that have appeared in this Podcast, it will show all of those recordings at once.

Remember that Podcast feeds are meant to display the latest recordings at all times. When additional recordings are added to our Podcasts, an equal number of the oldest recordings will no longer be displayed there. However, Podcasting software such as iTunes can be configured to keep these older entries, even if they are no longer listed in our Podcasting feeds.

When finished, press "OK". That's it! Enjoy.
